Having been used for the first time in the Berezovsky v Abramovich Commercial Court action, word is spreading about our Magnum technology and the benefits it brings over the trial preparation and hearing period. Now that the trial is over, the legal teams have also had a chance to digest the impact Magnum had on the case as a whole.

Magnum Technology Hits Courtrooms

Opus 2’s Magnum technology was used for the first time on the high-profile Berezovsky v. Abramovich hearing. The trial, which commenced in the new Rolls Building, involved several prominent law firms and chambers and over 12,000 legal documents. Instead of flipping through countless pieces of paper to find information, Magnum now allows the barristers and solicitors to find exactly what they need quickly. Even after the day’s proceedings are over, they can access transcripts and shared annotations from their office computer or even their iPads or smartphones.

When the Queen visited the Rolls Building to call the court to order, she had the opportunity to see Magnum in the courtroom. The Times covered the Queen’s visit and discusses how Graham Smith and Magnum have helped to change the face of court technology.
